The registration process for the CLE Program has concluded and confirmed registrants were duly notified by e-mail. Seat reservation is no longer available.
Attorneys in good standing who applied for registration by Thursday, January 26, 2012 and did not receive confirmation have been placed in a waiting list, pursuant to which spaces, subject to availability, will be notified and confirmed by telephone. Access to the CLE Program is restricted to attorneys with confirmed seats. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
Overview
The United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico is sponsoring a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Program, to be held on Thursday, February 16, 2012, at the Caribe Hilton Hotel, San Juan, Puerto Rico. This is another extraordinary CLE opportunity, offered at no charge to all members of the bar in good standing. Every effort will be made to obtain accreditation from the Puerto Rico Supreme Court’s Continuing Legal Education Program.
The Program will provide a combined total of seven (7) hours of instruction on the following topics:
- Civil Rights Litigation
- The Supreme Court in Review
The registration table will open at 7:45 a.m. The program will start at 8:30 a.m. and end at 5:30 p.m. Lunch, snacks, and refreshments for all participants will be included.
Instructions
Requests for reservations will be received by e-mail only directed to the U.S. District Court at: prd-cle-registration@prd.uscourts.gov. The e-mail request must include the attorney’s full name, USDC-PR Bar number, current mailing address, and telephone number(s).The deadline for reservations is Thursday, January 26 2012, or until all seats have been taken, whichever comes first. This lecture will be offered at no charge to all members of the bar in good standing. Only attorneys in good standing will be allowed to register. To verify good standing status please contact the Clerk’s Office Cashier at 787-772-3061. After the registration period expires, the Office of the Clerk will send a confirmation notice to the attorney’s e-mail address as it appears in the CM/ECF System.
Cancellations must be made on or before Monday, February 6, 2012. Only attorneys with confirmed seats may attend the seminar.
