The Judicial Conference of the United States approved inflationary adjustments to the district court miscellaneous fee schedule, effective December 1, 2023.

The increase to the Administrative Fee for filing a Civil Action, Suit or Proceeding in a District Court, impacts the total filing fee collected when a civil action is filed. Thus, the total filing fees that are due when a civil action is filed will increase from $402.00 to $405.00 (the statutory fee plus the $55.00 miscellaneous administrative fee).
