The United States District Court of Puerto Rico hosted a group of 58 attorneys and summer interns from seven local law firms as part of the Summer Associate Program. The participating firms include ECIJA-SBG LLC, Ferraiuoli LCC, McConnell Valdés, Marini Pietrantoni Muñiz, Pietrantoni Méndez Álvarez, Toro Colón Mullet PSC, O'Neill & Borges LLC, and DLA Piper.

 

During the visit, attendees had the opportunity to attend a presentation by District Court Judge Silvia Carreño-Coll. Judge Carreño provided an in-depth view of the workings of the federal court, highlighting the importance of the judicial system in protecting rights and enforcing the law in Puerto Rico.

 

This event is part of the District Court's ongoing efforts to strengthen ties with the local legal community and foster the professional development of future attorneys. These Interactions offers interns valuable experience and a deeper understanding of federal judicial procedures.
