On March 13, 2026, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico welcomed nineteen university students participating in the Jorge A. Ramos-Comas Legislative Internship Program to the Clemente Ruiz Nazario U.S. Courthouse in Hato Rey.

 

During their visit, the students were greeted by Chief District Judge Raúl M. Arias-Marxuach and had the opportunity to observe live court proceedings. The experience provided them with valuable insight into the federal judicial process, courtroom proceedings, and the role of the judiciary within the broader framework of government.

 

The Court continues to support educational outreach initiatives that promote civic engagement and offer students meaningful exposure to the federal justice system.
