On January 15, 2025, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico welcomed 14 high school students from TASIS School in Dorado to the Clemente Ruiz Nazario U.S. Courthouse in Hato Rey.
The students were received by Chief Judge Raúl M. Arias-Marxuach and had the opportunity to observe live court proceedings presided over by him, providing a firsthand look at the federal judicial process in action. Following the proceedings, Chief Judge Arias-Marxuach engaged the students in an interactive discussion and Q&A session, addressing topics related to the structure and function of the federal judiciary, courtroom procedures, and career opportunities within the legal field.
