District Court Welcomes 25 New Citizens at March 12, 2026 Naturalization Ceremony

On March 12, 2026, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico held a Naturalization Ceremony at the Clemente Ruiz Nazario U.S. Courthouse in Hato Rey, presided over by District Judge Camille L. Vélez-Rivé.
 
During the ceremony, twenty-five individuals proudly took the Oath of Allegiance, officially becoming citizens of the United States. The new citizens represent six countries—Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Honduras, Spain, and the Dominican Republic—reflecting the rich diversity that continues to strengthen our nation.
 
The Court is honored to host naturalization ceremonies and to welcome new citizens as they embark on this important chapter, reaffirming the values and responsibilities that accompany United States citizenship.
