On April 17, 2026, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico welcomed 62 eleventh-grade students and three faculty members from Escuela Libre de Música, Hato Rey, to the Clemente Ruiz Nazario U.S. Courthouse.
The visiting group attended a session of the Civil Discourse and Difficult Decisions Program before Magistrate Judge Giselle López-Soler. The program is designed to engage students in meaningful discussions on the judicial process and the importance of respectful dialogue in addressing complex legal and societal issues.
Through their participation, students were exposed to the federal court environment and encouraged to reflect on the role of the judiciary in resolving disputes and upholding the rule of law.
The Court continues to support educational initiatives that promote civic awareness and thoughtful engagement among students.
