Notice from the Clerk: 

The Clerk of the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico is pleased to announce a virtual Continuing Legal Education (CLE) training series for members of the Bar. This training is specifically designed to provide attorneys practical guidance and enhance their skills in Habeas Corpus practice.

This virtual CLE training is offered free of charge exclusively to members of the Bar in good standing. Every effort will be made to obtain accreditation from the Puerto Rico Supreme Court’s CLE Program after the conclusion of the last session of the series in September 2025.

The sessions will be held virtually from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM (AST) on the dates listed on the left.

Prior to submitting your registration application, please note the following:

  • Click on the CLE Registration Application link embedded in your email invitation.
  • Each attorney must submit his or her own reservation.
  • Attorneys must be in good standing to register (contact the Clerk’s Office Cashier at 787-772-3061 to verify your status).
  • To request CLE accreditation from the Puerto Rico Supreme Court’s CLE Program, attorneys must provide their registered “RUA” number as part of the registration process.
  • Only attorneys with a confirmed reservation will be permitted access to the Virtual CLE Program.
  • Attorneys with confirmed reservations must commit to attending the full CLE session.
  • The deadline for reservations is two weeks prior to each scheduled training session.
  • Registered participants are encouraged to test their access to the Virtual CLE webpage prior to the start of each session.
  • Telephone registrations will not be accepted.

After the reservation period closes, the Clerk’s Office will send a confirmation notice to registered attorneys at the email address listed in the CM/ECF System.  Attorneys with confirmed reservations who wish to cancel must do so by sending an email to prd-cle-registration@prd.uscourts.gov no later than the Monday of the week of each scheduled training session
