The United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico will host a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program on Monday, December 9, and Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at the Sheraton Convention Center Hotel, San Juan, Puerto Rico. The two-day, twelve-hour event is offered free of charge to members of the Bar in good standing  

The CLE program will consist of the following lectures:

1. Legal Writing
2. Ethics
3. Evidence
4. U.S. Supreme Court Review

Prior to submitting your registration application, be advised that:

• Please click on the Court’s Program Registration Application link embedded in your e-mail invitation.
• Each attorney must make his/her own reservation.
• Attorneys must be in good standing to register (contact the Clerk’s Office Cashier at 787-772-3061 to verify status).
• For accreditation from the Puerto Rico Supreme Court Continuing Legal Education Program, participants will be required to provide their registered “Registro Unico de Abogados (RUA)” number as part of the application.
• Only attorneys with confirmed reservation may attend the Court’s Program.
• Confirmed attorneys must commit to attend the full Court’s Program.
• The deadline for reservations is Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
• Attorneys with a confirmed reservation who fail to attend must explain their absence in writing.
• Telephone calls for registration to the Court’s Program will not be accepted.

After the registration period has closed, the Office of the Clerk will send a confirmation notice to registered attorneys to the e-mail address listed in the CM/ECF System. Attorneys with confirmed registration must notify any cancellations on or before Monday, December 2, 2024, by sending an email to:
