NOTICE FROM THE CLERK
NO. 22-11
RESCHEDULING OF IN-PERSON AND VIDEO TELECONFERENCE COURT PROCEEDINGS OF DETAINEES
 
Due to current power limitations in correctional institutions resulting from the passing of Hurricane Fiona, all in-person and video teleconference (“VTC”) proceedings scheduled for September 20 through September 23, 2022, involving detainees housed at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Guaynabo (“MDC”) and Guayama 1000, are continued. In-person and VTC hearings of defendants on-bond, as well as all civil proceedings, will be held as scheduled, subject to any specific instructions provided by the presiding judge.
 
District Court operations and services to the public within the Clerk's Office and the U.S. Probation Office resumed on Tuesday September 20, 2022. The United States Attorneys' Office, law enforcement agencies and the members of the Bar are on notice that the duty Magistrate Judge remains available on regular duty schedule.
 
Attorneys, parties, and members of the public are encouraged to review their respective case docket in CM/ECF for updated information on scheduled proceedings.
